Meridiana is Italy’s first private airline , it has been on the airline scenario since 1966. In 2005 Meridiana carried 4,5 million passengers.
Meridiana has a leading role for Sardinian destinations, it is the sole carrier for routes originating from Olbia towards Milan, Rome, Bologna, Verona and from Cagliari towards Bologna, Verona, Torino and Palermo.
Meridiana is also the major carrier flying from Cagliari to Rome and Milan. Meridiana’s schedule comprises dozens of domestic north-south routings, mainly featuring flights to Naples, Catania and Palermo from Turin, Milan, Bologna, Florence and Verona.
Our network is completed with flights to Paris, London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Prague and Budapest. Meridiana’s fares/flights to and within Italy are among the lowest available on the market.
